So my question is this, would a fleet of Thousand Sons that were say lost in the warp during the Heresy be effected by the Rhubric?

I ask because I am looking at converting a Pre Heresy force of them and was curious about people's opinions on the subject.

"I was never a Son of Horus. I was and remain a Luna Wolf. A proud son of Cthonia, a loyal servant of the Emperor."

Recasts are like Fight Cub. No one talks about it, but more people do it then you realize.

The blood ravens from the dawn of war games are believed to be thousand sons loyalist ( they don't know who there primary is, they have an unuaslly large amount of Psykers which they incorporate into there command structure(chief librarians are ussuly also chapter mast), they have a rank of company librarian, they are obsessed with knowledge and there former motto was knoledge is power, guard it well.

With that in mind then it is likely that thousand sons how were loyalists and weren't on prosperous when it fell were not affected by the rubric

Xykon: All you need is power, in as great a concentration as you can muster, and style. And in a pinch, style can slide.

The blood ravens maybe have been created after the Horus heresy from Thousand sons Geneseed, further i beleive only strong psykers were able to resist the rubric.

One of the theories about the Blood Ravens is just before the attack of Prospero. Magnus ordered the fleet to leave the planet undefended. These Thousand Sons crews scattered and were not affected by the rubric as the spell only affected those that turned traitor and entered the eye. And the flesh change disappeared simply because Tzeentch's plan was successful and he didn't need to continue the ruse.

The Rhubric affected loyalist marines in a different way, cursing their geneseed with incurable, raging kleptomania.

I think I remember reading that the Thousand Sons who were not on Sortiarius at the time were unaffected by the Rubric. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

I haven't read anything conclusive either way.
My take on some of the lines in Ahriman Exile lead me to think that the rubric is linked to All TS gene seed, and that location would not be a factor.

If they *were* Loyalist 1KS, it seems Tzeentch traded them to Khorne for something as-yet undisclosed. Stock options, perhaps.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
