Just finished this model for a friend of mine so much fun to paint and didn't take me nearly as long as I'd thought he would, mainly due to the fact I just powered through enjoying painting every aspect of this model

really hope you like him!

Super-duper stuff, the marble on the hammer and the effect on the cloak are epic!

Looks amazing, really like the detail on the hammer. Also like that you didn't do the jet black skin with glowing red eyes thing; I really, really hate that retcon...

Really like this model. Highlights on the armour are excellent and the cloak is spectacular. The only thing I don't like is the hammers handle (grip). It is painted well, i just don't like the color.

I really love your green. It feels very warm while still being metallic. Did you start with a metallic silver undercoat and then ink/glaze green over the top in layers? Would love to know more on your process for that metallic emerald look you've achieved!

To get the candy gold/green I simply mixed a watered green with some gold paint and painted the plates with this mix focusing more on the higher parts, then add a little more gold to the mix and highlight, followed by a pure gold highlight then wash liberally with Biel tan green wash. you can even just drybrush your final gold if you wish before the wash. it's suprisingly easy to do and I agree it would look pretty cool on some marines :-)
