Hi, I'm Jay from Texas (originally from New York), and after years of playing Fantasy, I've decided to jump into 40K. Yeah, the whole Age of Sigmar thing kind of did it for me, trying not to be too pissed or bitter at the fact I've got six Fantasy armies (Empire/Warriors of Chaos/High Elves/Wood Elves/Beastmen/Daemons) sitting in my closet collecting dust. I had a small Space Marine army back in 2011, but was so into Fantasy at the time, I sold it off. Now I'm about 1/2 way through building an 1850 Speed Freak list, and can't wait to put my boyz on the table!

The Fantasy armies aren't a complete loss, however. Even though they are on square bases, I have about 3,000 points each of Nurgle and Khorne daemons. I've played about three 1850 games so far with just strictly Nurgle, and, although I lost each time, still had a blast. (Hard for those slow moving Nurgle guys to grab objectives!)

If you recognize the name, yes, I'm the same TexasYankee that's been on warhammer-empire.com since 2009. I hope I enjoy this site as much as I've enjoyed that site.
