Hey guys,

I've been looking around for tutorial videos focusing on freehand miniature painting and haven't been able to find a whole lot of them. I bought the Franceso Farabi one from Miniature Mentor and its great, I think Painting Buddha has another, but they seem to be very uncommon. I've tried watching Youtube non miniature-specific fine art acrylic & oil painting videos but have found they're of limited use being of a different scale.

I'm looking for advanced tutorials not beginner stuff, and don't mind paying for them if the quality is high enough.

Andy Wardle is doing a seminar next year over here, he has a thread up here with some brief tutorials that may help you - I've listed him as a friend in my profile, his username is andywardle

I'd link it but I'm on my phone

WAU has a link up about it too

Not a video, but this was moderately helpful to me.

What exactly are you looking for? You have watched the Painting Buddah videos(they are not uncommon, but pretty essential if just starting out), that's about as complex as it gets. Watch them a few more times and pick up the brush. Really a lot of the techniques cannot be watched, they have to be practiced. Get to work!

Edit: and throw them a bone. They put out the best painting videos on YouTube, and they need money to continue doing it. The yokel working for GW at the moment is technically good, but he is a corporate schill. He will teach you how to do it technically correct, without any heart. Ben Commets has no affiliation with GW, but shows you how to paint with heart. The man is damn good at his job.
