Our first ever Frostgrave Battle Report, we go through the game rules and mechanics from starting a warband, selecting a school of magic and soldiers to playing through a battle and taking part in a campaign.
This was a practice game and our next episode will be the start of the real campaign. Were super excited by this amazingly simple yet immersive ruleset and fantasy world.
The one criticism I have is the terrain placement. Frostgrave plays best with lots of LOS blocking terrain. You had all the cool looking LOS blocking terrain around the outside, and it left the middle of the board with too many shooting alleys.
