With my renegades forces hitting a comfortable 3000 points most of which painted I'm looking in to how to get another unique looking allied force. I'm pretty settled on a Counts-as D99 as a Come-the-apocalypse allies using the rules to represent Pirates, Marauders and General neer-dowells. To give the force some character I ideally want to find cartoony graphics for the aircraft (sharks mouth on nose of valk, pin-ups, slogans etc) but have come up a little short in my google-fu. I know I've seen some around in the past but can't seem to find them. Any help would be awesome.

Just search for 'model decals aircraft' and a pile of historical ones will appear - the type you want were popular in WW2 (and later) fighters and bombers, especially American.

1:48 scale will probably best suit 40K models.
