I'm new to the forums so please no hate

I started my marines army a little while ago but I had to stop because I was really busy with school. I'll post a how to paint and a showcase of my army in the near future. At the moment it comes to around 700pts (mostly unpainted, but I'm working on it)

My chapter is called the Aurora Guard and is an Ultramarines successor chapter (I'm still working on the fluff to go with it). I used an Ultramarines upgrade kit to personalise the army (I'd actually intended to create an Ultramarines army but decided against it), mostly so that I didn't have to apply transfers and they also looked pretty kick-ass

Don't worry yourself about any haters. They're a good bunch really, most of the bad'uns confine themselves to the off-topic section.

It would be great to see your Chapter. Post a blog in the Painting and Modelling section. The guys are a massive help and inspiration. You'll pick up a tonne of sound advice, and plenty of positive reinforcement.

Go to 'Dakka P+M blogs' and in the top left corner, you should see a tab with 'New Topic'. That's were you start your blog.
