I have bought badly painted terminator from Space Hulk, Zael. So I removed paint and flamer ignition catch my eye. Standard flamer gun have a stand for ignition. I assume that is for increasing durability. Must say that I don't like it there and in addition was not complete. I decided to replace it with my own.

Process:

Use a paperclip and thin wire insulation. Bend down the paperclip and glue small piece of wire insulation at the end. You can have nice detail if you not flush the insulation with the end of wire, but place end of paperclip inside insulation tube.

Cut original plastic part out and drill a hole at the bottom side of flamer.

Cut the paperclip to proper size. There is an original piece for the compare.

Glue the new piece to the drilled hole. I used superglue because of material types.

It is just an idea how to modify some part of a model. Someone may like it, someone don't.
And of course, always drill barrels of your models. It boosts coolness of your models out of the window.

That does make a huge difference. And it looks like it could actually ignite that flamer
