So in accordance with my
Giant Necron Tesseract Vault I'm working on (haven't updated for a few weeks but there are more pics coming) I'm making a custom C'tan Shard.
The design isn't fully fleshed out yet, not sure whether to give her a skull head, or a snake head... or both...
Also at a loss on how to do the arms, whether to scratch build them too, or to buy some, if so, does anyone have any recommendations on what fig would have the best arms, she's about 10
cm (4 inches) tall, so regular C'tan size.
Fluff wise: Her name Apoph'Kor, The Scourge. She has the uncanny ability to cause instant nuclear fusion in any given matter. Because of this innate ability, she was seen as a sort of giver of "life" to various C'tan, being able to basically turn anything into a sun. When the C'tan began to work with the Necrontyr, the deceiver convinced the Necrontyr to capture her, break her apart, and place the pieces in some of the earliest Tesseract Vaults, and use her as a nigh-unstoppable weapon. This act was more so to gain their trust, as her ability endangered the Necrontyr, and all life in the galaxy.
Millions of years later, one of the forgotten Vaults is uncovered by a team of Tech-Priests (or what ever army is used at the time). In finding it, it re-awakens (insert titan-esque tabletop battle here), but the team is able to subdue the vault.
This damages the vault, releasing the shard inside (insert tabletop gameplay here, figure plays as a regular C'tan Shard), weakened from the millions of years of stasis, but still wielding the god-like powers of the C'tan. The team must stop the shard from gaining too much of it's power back, or it may be able to leave the planet, and reunite with it's other pieces, ensuring devastation for all life in the galaxy.
C'tan are fun to write fluff for, because they do whatever they want, and are literally gods...
