So I'm a delivery driver for my companies heavy freight department. Think like UPS but everything is well over 100 pounds. Anywho I have a couple different bosses and one of them schedules my deliveries. This person annoys the hell out of me because of ignorance and lack of planning when it comes to my deliveries. Things like not actually making sure a pickup is in good order, or that I alone can lift a 1000 pound carport or that my timed drops can happen in the physical world. Things like that! So yesterday it all came to a head and I left a pickup, went back to the office and exploded in a series of rants and shouts. When it was all said and done, the plant manager actually was on my side, got some yelling in as well and off I went.

Now everyone thinks I'm some kind of hero and I personally havnt felt better. So I'm curious if anyone else here has done the forbidden and told a person of higher standing to shove it

Making enemies though. They have a habit of turning up when you least expect them too, sometimes got to be careful which fights you pick.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

At my Previous workplace (I was a kitchen staff member at Triple-O's which was a job I absolutely hated), I was a sarcastic jerk to my manager as I resented him for the fact he would give me gak hours (like 8-16 hours a week) and treat me like an idiot even though I had been working

there for a year and a half. When I quit I told him I would not be working the shifts he gave me as I had a new job I was training for (a dealer at Cascades Casino which I've been enjoying a lot more and been lots more hours) and that my uniform is in the back room.

Yeah, my ex-manger goes to the same gym as I so there's an uncomfortable energy when I see him. Mind you I find my performance increases as that anger he brings in me when I see his face gives me more energy.

I once told a director for one of the top petrol forecourts in the UK that if he wanted his product shipped early he could...

'..fething well get in your car, come on over, and pick the fething things yourself.....'

And

'....come and get your cheap suit dirty in our distribution hub....'

Among other choice words.

After I had calmed down, I worried I may have overstepped the mark. Luckily our company chairman headed off his own commercial directors who were after my blood. Agreeing I may have gone a tad overboard, circumstances leading up to the conversation mitigated most of my response.

I had a horrible manager back when I worked in retail. Imagine a cross between Ursala off little mermaid and Jabba the Hutt.

So one day, after much irritation. I told her to "feth off and die."

She was universally despised by everyone there, so I was a hero for a long time.
