Is their a Star Trek Ground combat game? something TNG or the ADB Star Fleet universe would be cool.

The only one I know of it ADB's is Star Fleet Mariens, but idea if it's any good or were to find mini's for it.

A LOOOONG Time Ago, Michael Thompson, who did the X-Ships, Pseudofighters, and is the actual Author of the ADB "Fleet Level" Combat System (which Steve Cole Stole from him, apparently), did a game called "Star Fleet Marines."

It was a ground combat game which used infantry and "Attack Shuttles" (which were a combination of Air-vehicle and Grav Tank - this was the ONLY game I ever saw where Grav Technology was portrayed correctly on a battlefield) as the combatants (and you could have small Starships giving close-air support, or larger starships in Orbit doing massive Bombardment and Fire-Support.

The Infantry were protected by a combination of personal and unit shielding.

They used a variety of Phaser and Photonic Weapons.

And it was very similar to a cross between Star Fleet Battles and Squad Leader, from what I recall.

I do not know if this is the same game that ADB eventually put out.

It would not surprise me given how Steve Cole treated Mike (he abused and stole from him liberally).

If it is, then the game is probably worthwhile.

THere's a few options for rules; two I can think of would be Blasters and Bulkheads (it's mostly Star Wars with the serial numbers filed off, but it'll do most sci-fi settings, really) or 7TV, especially if you're thinking more of the original 60s series.

The 1st edition Rogue Trader rules may well work, too; they were pretty generic, and covered a wide variety of equipment.
