Steel Fist have created a small kickstarter to expand their Samurai Warriors range. The last kickstarter was successful and delivered great quality miniatures.

All Pledges come with this exclusive kickstarter miniature.

The helmet is based on this real Samurai Helmet

I already have as many mounted samurai as I need yet I will still probably get more from this kick starter.

Beautiful, but very expensive. 15 quid/$23 for two mounted samurai is highway robbery.

Perry, which also makes very well sculpted samurai, gives you three mounted samurai for 8.50 quid/$14.00. Making them less than half the price per model (7.5 per samurai for Steel Fist vs 2.83 per samurai for Perry, making them almost a third the cost). Perry does tend to have excess flash issues, but not sufficient to warrant that cost difference.

If they cut their price in half I would be in, but I cannot justify shipping+cost to the US at that price.

On time, on target, or the next one's free

I actually second this. My initial enthusiasm was quickly trampled by my wallet.

That's understandable. They are fantastic quality with perfect casting but they are certainly far from the cheapest around. For me they are worth the extra money as I like the armour designs a great deal and I find them a lot more fun to pain than the perry options but I also have a bunch of Perry Samurai that make up the bulk of my forthcoming army.
