Is it worth filling a 60pt escalation list with one big ship?

Then adding ships for each list after that

I seem to recall the escalation rules were updated a while back so that the 60pt list had to be at least 2 ships

You could do 1 acadamy TIE and a 48pt shuttle. One of my favorite games was when a buddy was learning, we did a 60pt game and I just took a maxed out upgraded shuttle. Now with all the new upgrades since then, could prob do a better list with it.

What faction are we talking? Big ships vary wildly in cost, options and effectiveness.

Yes... the rules for an Escalation event require a minimum of 2 ships at the 60 point level.

Fairly sure this would be a no as the Pup isn't a ship at the start of the game it's an upgrade

Correct.

The Nashtah Pup is not considered Docked to the Hound's Tooth and is not included when tallying up squad point totals.

Although stock Bossk plus a TLT thug could be a good start point for a list
