Working on a highlander daemonkin list and looking for some pointers. Here is what i am thinking so far. Note it is highlander.

I don't think you're allowed to take the Knight Errant choice in a Highlander.

Thanks for the comment but this particular highlander is allowing Knights both imperial and chaos as the only exception to the rule. I should have mentioned that.

Not sure your taking advantage of the blood tithe - you don't have a lot of units to die, or champions to die in challenges. And don't have a lot of typical easy blood point (but still useful units) like rhinos or 1-man spawn.

Are you allowed duplicated dedicated transports?

Also since you don't have invisibility for your bloodthirster, you may want to consider taking a wrath version so he can fly around breathing fire, whipping and vector striking until it is safer to land - reason being I found that the insensate one is pretty easy to kill since he is on the ground and always attacks last in combat.

Ya I've realized it's tough to do small units in a highlander style since khorne really rely on multiples of small units to gain tithes. Taking a slaughtercult seems like a big tax to gain a tithe so I have put that idea on hold and trying other ideas. I know I will see other knights at this tourney and the khorne knight seems to be the best of all knights.
A small melta bike unit could be good but also love the idea of getting a grinder and a mauler in this list.
I agree, I am not 100% on the D Thirster but seems like a lot of points to fly around Vstriking and breathing fire for up to 4 turns before I could land and assault.

Set yourself up for turn 2 charges and land him turn 2 (the nice thing with the wrath one is even on the turn he lands he can still do damage) then there won't be enough things not in combat left to kill him turn 3.

Hide him behind LOS blocking terrain when you deploy him (remember his weapons and wings don't count for los).

For your fast attack I'd take a unit of 3 spawn or 3 melta bikers.

For your heavy a maulerfiend and a soul grinder.

Troops add an 8 man squad of zerkers + melta bombs + power axe (I also like taking 2 plasma pistols (not on champ) but most people don't) and givem a rhino

For your elites 3 melta terminators might be fun...
