What detachments do you tend to run, and with what chapter(s)? If you've been running Gladius, what have you taken for your command and auxiliary?

I run with a Black Templar army and none of the formations are accurate representations or allow me to use Crusader squads so it's basic CAD for me.

If I ran a more Codex compliant Chapter, I could see the lure of the Stormwing and 1st Company task force supporting a demi company.

As my collection is light on tanks, I field mostly Demi-companies, 1st and 10th co. taskforces. Plus the good old CAD. All Ultramarines.

I tend not to invest heavily in HQs, so I mostly just stick with the captain/chaplain from the company. I think I get them both out in about equal measure.

A couple of new tanks are probably next on my acquisition list, so I can field the armored TF, or suppression force. Depending on what I grab.

If you want an odd ball list that should be decent.

Pair the triple Land Raider formation with a Demi Company.

Stick five man Tacticals in the Raiders to protect them and run around blasting stuff with mini super heavies.

Pair with Speeders, a triple Dreadnought unit and some Devturions.
