Hello! my airbrush is spitting water when used for longer periods of time.. The only wierd thing is that i have a water separator on my compressor..
When this happens the water separator is dimmed on the inside from collecting mist but no liquid water is inside it, The spraying from the airbrush is alot and spotty, Like it can spit out enough water to cover about halv of a space marine in water then it spits around 3-4 times in varying sizes then works as normal for some time then it does it again, Really annoying.
Anyone know why it might do this?

Is your moisture trap on the compressor itself?
Does your compressor have an air tank?
The trap is not doing its job. You need to either contact the seller and get the kit exchanged or fit a new moisture trap on the line. Ideally moisture traps shouldn't be right next to the compressor. Most of the combo kits have them there and it can be a recipe for failure as the compressor heats up.

Its sitting on the compressor itself and it do have a tank if thou a small one, so the engine do work 90% of the time iam using it and heats up alot

Sounds like you have water in your tank, and the moisture trap isn't doing anything, so it is probably bad. Your motor shouldn't be running that much either, should last a few minutes on the tank if you are doing continuous spraying, and even longer if just short bursts.
If it's a new compressor take it in, if not, might be time for a new one, or replacing some worn out parts.

Its pretty new, maybe 40 miniatures thrue it..
The compressor is this one http://www.biltema.se/sv/Verktyg/Tryckluft/Kompressor/Minikompressor-MC-90-2000031136/
Swedish so you might not understand it but you get the layout of it.
"Oil-free piston compressor designed for airbrush paint sprayers .
Supplied with pressure regulator , pressure gauge and water separator.
Power: 90 W.
Automatic start / stop .
Max . 4 bar.
Air flow : 23 L / min.
Weight: 5 kg.
230 V."
So its pretty comapct so the working while i use it i think is normal, But the water sprays is an anomaly, But if you still think it should not be working as much when i work i guess i could take it back to the store?

Take it back to the store. Tell them it is doing this plus getting very hot.

Does the tank have a drain plug? Pull it and see if there's water in the tank. Every compressor tank will accumulate a bit of water. All compressors get hot, but if it's getting *too* hot it may be causing the problem. The hotter the compressor is, the more moisture will form and if the air running through the moisture trap is too hot the water won't fully condense before being passed in to your air hose/airbrush. You can put another trap closer to the airbrush rather than at the tank. I personally haven't found that necessary, maybe if your compressor is getting too hot or you live in a very humid environment that might be necessary though. It's hard to tell what is "too hot", my compressor gets hot enough that it's unpleasant to touch it but it's not a problem.

This may seem obvious. But did you empty the water in the moisture trap?
Test #2: if you don't have paint in your airbrush and you just hold down the trigger, will water come out? If so, the problem isn't with your airbrush; it's on the supply (compressor) end.

I didn't realise how easy it was to empty my moisture trap, just grab two tissues or papertowel or whatever and press them to the bottom of the trap while the compressor has air in the tank. Blasts it right out

If its new like you said, I would take it back, could just be bad. I looked at the web page you posted, I think yours is just the compressor, no tank on it. So it will run continuous, but if its so hot that its creating more water then the separator can keep up with, there is something wrong with it.

If there's no tank then it's likely that the air is too hot for the separator to work, so little to no moisture condenses in the moisture trap but rather as the air cools down on its journey through the hose from the moisture trap to the airbrush it cools down and condenses in the hose itself or in the airbrush.
It's not uncommon for people to put moisture traps closer to the airbrush for that reason.
Though since it's new I guess you might as well take it back and see what the shop says.
