Can they even enter in the Eye of Terror at all .or its just basically "eternal" war?

Chaos wouldn't even exist without humanity at all ,right? So you cannot simply kill Chaos without killing humanity? They feed on our feelings, death?

What happens if Tau,Eldar or Humans enter Eye of Terror with spaceships?

Chaos exists, regardless of the existence of humanity. The chaos gods existed before mankind.

I don't think it would be possible to kill a chaos god. The laws of physics don't apply to the warp and daemonic prescences don't have the concept of 'death' but then again the laws of physics don't apply so who knows what is possible.

You don't have to be happy when you lose, just don't make winning the condition of your happiness.

Well the Chaos gods did come into existence at some point so all that which has a beginning so to has an end.

The only way to "kill" a chaos god would be to starve it of what it feeds on and the only way to really do that is to kill everyone and everything that feeds them.

So the only way we would ever see an end to the chaos gods is if we saw an end to everything.

At least thats how I understand.

It's confusing with the fact that time has no meaning in the warp. Basically they exist because at some point they came into existence, but the point in which they come into existence doesn't matter. For example they could come into existence next week, however because they do they were already in existence before that. Which means as well if they're able to be taken out of existence they would probably already be out of existence, but then because they existed at some point they will probably exist still. But yeh, humanity is the main source of their power as far as we know and as each of the gods has two sides in which they can draw power, really the only way they will ever be gone is for humanity to be the way the emperor wanted and be completely free of all worship, which is impossible given free will, or for all of humanity to be destroyed; something which neither the Imperium or chaos actually want.

There's a story in the daemons 'dex about a space marine who almost kills Slaanesh. The eldar seem somewhat confident that other warp entities (like their gods) can kill a chaos god even if the fight is really lopsided.

That said, the warp is weird, etc. etc. You can probably kill them, meaning you put an end to their narrative of existence, but that existence is non-linear, so... yeah.

Also, the Imperium can totally go into the Eye. Pretty much everyone can. It's just that lots of nasty stuff exists there.

ATTENTION
. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

i think that the concept of killing a chaos god is possible however what you would be killing would be its symbol its icon its name, the form it would take would be a new one, it would have a new name perhaps some new personality traits but you couldnt kill the entity that is chaos. how long would the vaccum exist after you say kill nurgle before say uglyman takes over and everyone starts worshipping a depressing ugly plague spreader? could be a week, could be a month, could be a handful of seconds. and when you would do so its likely that worshippers of the old god wouldnt really notice the change and possibly even just forget they were servants of some other named diety mere days ago. as we have seen time and again chaos worshippers really dont give many feths about who they follow around, i mean fulgrim got locked in a painting and long ago the empoerers children stopped caring their now following a daemon instead of their primarch. and i scarcely doubt theyd care if the situation there was ever corrected.

I havent read the latest HH novellas yet... in one of the Alpha Legion ones it is said that if Horus had won the Heresy chaos would have been removed from the universe since the CSM would burn the galaxy and the gods would eventually starve making way for a new beginning without the chaos gods.

The emperor however condemned the universe to eternal war. Who is the real monster here?
