Hi people ! I never really was interested in FW, but lately, more and more players in my area are beginning to use their products, and I was wondering what were the good books and models for the CSM or the KDK army lists.
Thx for the answer !

IA13 - The Lost And The Damned.

Brass Scorpion is fun. Fire Raptor and Sicaran tank both look good.

Everything in the IA13 book is solid.

IA 13 is the ONLY book. IA: Vraks has some Renegade stuff, but it's very specific to Nurgle. Not going to help CSM in general.

Good units are the Fire Raptor, Sicaran, Blight Drones, Hell Blades are good Stormtalon equivalents and the Sonic Dreadnought. Moderately good units include the Relic Predator and Ferrum Infernus Dreadnought. But mostly because you don't have to buy a new model for an increase in usability from the vanilla codex versions.

Blood slaughterers are also sound, and very khorne.

There are two formations in the Blood Oath expansion worth noting,

The Hellforged hunting pack, lets you take all your daemon engines, and a brass scorpion.

The Fist of khorne lets you break the game by assaulting with 20 bezerkers on turn one.

It's a Formation. It gives them permissions to do so.

Just to be sure : if I include a fist of Khorne in my Blood Host detachment, I lose the benefits from the BH detach, right ?

one model for CSM that i feel is a must own:

vindicator laser tank destroyer

simply put you field two of them and laugh at any tanks your opponent brings to the table, as well as any t6-7 MC's that come to the table as you will probably kill 1 a turn for MC's or 2 a turn for vehicles

DA army: 3500pts,
admech army: 600pts
ravenguard: 565 pts

The chaos Sicaran is very nice and so is the Chaos Vindicator Laser Destroyer. Both of those are excellent tanks. I really like the chaos Typhon with armored ceramite. The Typhon is a huge problem solver in this age of cover saves for everyone.

No, not at all.. You do not include a fist of khorne 'in' a blood host detachment. But you can take it as well as no problems.

I have no idea why that thing is so overlooked, ridiculous thing just blasts tanks away almost 100% of he time you fire you kill a vehicle

Because it's not in IA 13. It's one of those free ones like the Deredeo and the Interceptor thing. They get forgotten about just because they aren't in the same place. That's atleast why I forget about them.

How exactly do you get the rules for them then? I have a thought about converting a regular Vindicator or two into the laser version.

It's just a PDF in Forge World's Downloads section. Free for everyone to use until it gets put in a book.

Chaos Knight or Kytan Daemon engine. Both get the daemon of khorne rule from KDK.

I believe rules for both are on FW's website too.
