Hey out there in miniature land. I've been gone a while. Gone so long in fact that I had to set up a new account here to share my miniature madness. I've given up playing the games. To be honest that part of it all never really appealed to me. But I do love painting miniatures, as well as writing out backstories for them. I suppose I look at them more as illustrations than as part of any game, although the background universes for many of these games are fantastic. To that end I've begun painting them with oils, which is really a trip, and working on heavy greenstuff, physical texturing tricks etc. So yeah, I've got a new thing going on the old blog, a reinvention of my own hobby with new goals and hopefully something other people can enjoy. Short stories, illustrations and of course miniature painting.

From here on out all my personal miniatures will be converted to some degree and I've been inspired by guys like Migs and the crew at Ironsleet.com to delve deeper into the unreality that makes this hobby so interesting. Now run on over and check out the blog sworntoheresy.blogspot.com and say hello. On that note, here's a teaser of a new converted piece I'm working on.

That is a beautiful conversion. Chaos Dreadnaught, if I'm not mistaken. I do Slaaneshi conversions for just about any model I can find (Slaaneshi Khorne Bloodbound, Slaaneshi Ravenwing, hehe). Welcome back.

Hi. Welcome to Dakka. That is a very lovely conversion

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
