So the Khorgorath model has a lot of hate but some love as well-looks wise. I personally love the model and plan to use it as my Khorne daemon prince in my 40k chaos army. Because I have no problem with how it looks I have just put it on a daemon prince sized Base and that's all. Would this be OK to use in tournaments or do you think it will be a problem? I personally think it looks like a perfect daemon prince but I would like to see how everyone else sees it.
Thanks for your thoughts

In tournaments, highly unlikely.
Otherwise, we don't know if it will be accepted. Only the people you are going to play with do.

What about in a non tournament setting? Would using khorgorath as a daemon prince be acceptable?

I think with a little bit of conversion work it'll make a fine daemon prince.
I went with a hellbrute. Size is spot on.

Love the conversion. I was thinking no converting at all as I really like the model. Plus I suck at modelling :( to be fair the model is wysiwyg as a daemon prince's war gear states close combat weapon and the khorgorath model has two big hulking fists

I guess, tho a DP without wings isn't much use.
Also the khorgorath head needs fixing.. it just looks wrong...

I don't see why there should be any issues even in a tournament setting, it's not like there's a Khogorath in 40k to confuse people so it should be fine to just say 'that's my daemon prince'. I've never played in a tournament but I don't see why there would be an issue.

In a casual setting, I predict most people will be okay with it as long as it's wysiwyg. In terms of tournaments though it might depend. Some tournaments are very specific when it comes to model size and often disallow proxy/counts-as/sometimes even conversions altogether.
