Hi all,

I failed to find answers for several questions, hope for your help

1) Tau's multi-tracker shooting
Assuming a crisis battlesuit model has multi-tracker rule and two weapons, is it possible to shoot an independent character with the first weapon, kill it, and shoot second? Or second weapon stalls and does nothing in this case?
2) Eldar Wave Serpent
I'm a bit confused to to use it. It's a fast skimmer transport, so it apparently moves 0''-6''-12'' in movement phase, and 18'' if flatting out.
All transports start the game in reserves. I assume you can embark the guys in the beginning of the game and they start in reserves too.
But how do you come from reserves then? Only from your side of the table, like when outflanking, or by deep strike?
And how do you rotate it when moving? Only after movement?

Thanks!

1. A multi tracker lets you shoot with two weapons. It does not let you pick characters in units. Also you do not gain the split fire rule. You have to fire both weapons at the same target and at the same time. You just get to fire two weapons instead of one.

2. No, all transports do NOT start the game in reserves, that's flyers you are thinking about.

Expanding on Topaxy's answers:

1) Even if the model has a Target Lock and a Multitracker, it may still only shoot at a single target, just with more weapons. An example of breaking that rule is Shadowsun's XV22 armour, which allows her to shoot at two different targets with her weapons.

2) Only Flyers are forced to start in reserve, like a Crimson Hunter or Sunshark Bomber, not Skimmers.
Vehicles have different speeds, referred to as Combat Speed and Cruising Speed, and may also choose to Flat Out in the shooting phase instead of firing weapons (just like running). At any point during that move they may pivot (they may even pivot whilst remaining stationary, without counting as moving). For more info, have a look at Vehicles in the Movement Phase, on page 73 of the rulebook.
If a unit comes on from reserves, unless it has the Outflank (or Infiltrate or Scout) or Deep Strike special rules, it will enter from it's players table edge.
