Hello
So, I'm a little bit done with losing all the time, so I'm resorting to cheese playing seeing how everyone I play cheeses out there list and I don't complain, if anything I'm playing this list to change people's cheese lists and get them using more than underhand cheap tactics to cut through my armies.

HQ
Daemon Prince MoN with Black Mace Level 3 Psyker.
Weapon Virus the massive amount of Tau and Tyranid attacks etc, I don't even have to waste time if they fail their saves

Kharn!

Troops
3x 20 Cultists stock, each unit with Flamers and Stubbers
Cheap and cheerful

Fast Attack
3 Heldrakes with Baleflamers
4x5 Nurgle Raptors with Melta
3x5 Nurgle Bikers all with Melta

Cheese for everyone!

Where did you get the weapon virus? I have not come across that before?

This isn't cheese, it's just a bad list. You're paying for way too many cultists that aren't Objective Secured since you've gone Unbound, and which you don't even need to take. Why spend 300 points on a bunch of dudes in t-shirts that'll break the first time they get shot at if you don't need them? Further, you're paying to put flamers and stubbers in each unit, which is just egregious waste since they a) won't meaningfully get to use them, and b) you're equipping them at cross-purposes.

The nurgle bikers are fine if you want fast anti tank, but the raptors aren't really doing you any favors. You don't need all that melta anyway, what you really need is some more versatility. Cut most of the raptors and cultists, add some Obliterators and Spawn.

The only "cheesy" thing you have going on is 3 drakes, and that's only helpful against a certain set of lists.

Edit: Regarding your daemon prince, you can't guarantee you get Weapon Virus anyway and you want to minimize rolls on the Nurgle chart. Try Biomancy for power and durability, or Telepathy for utility.

It's a Nurgle discipline, all enemy units in 24 inches of the Nurgle Psyker gets the Gets Hot rule.
A real treat if you deep strike but not worth risking a Daemon Prince, a sorcerer maybe, have them run suicide in the hope that the gets hot takes out a fair few before his inevitable death

Would you exchange 60 cultists for 10 Plague Marines? Good for sticking on objectives I guess and stick them in a rhino

Weapon Virus targets a single unit within 24", it's not a nova power.

Regarding swapping the cultists for 10 plague marines:

What role do you want those models to serve in your army? This is the question you should be asking yourself instead of just trying to figure out how to be "cheesy". You could take the cheesiest models in the world and if you don't understand the role those models play, you won't do well anyway.

Anyway, two units of 5 plague marines with 2 plasma guns each in a Rhino provides two very fast and resilient objective sitters with enough firepower to troubleshoot a variety of problems on the board. They stick around enough to assert a lot of board control and they take dedicated force to remove, but in an unbound list you won't get their major benefit: very hardy ObSec.

Consider these things as you adjust your list.

Also, Weapon Virus is good against big units who has many shots, bad armour save and no twin-link. Very situational, as it is mainly useless against MEQ (because of 3+) and Eldar&Tau (because TL) and so on. Against Orks and Nids is where it shines.

Otherwise, Raptors are cool but not cheese in any way. Go Nurgle Spawns if you want cheese (in CSM standards at least).

3 Heldrakes is not gonna help you win. Sure, a Heldrake can burn most infantry units to cinders when they arrive. But the big questions are: when will it arrive (turn 2, 3 or 4?) and will it be able to get lined up for a nice target the second turn it acts (often not). And also, will it kill it's cost in points? Most often not I'd say, from experience. Though I have never fielded more than 2.

If you want a cheesier CSM list, look into these units to add:

5 Spawns with Mark of Nurgle, take 3 units. They kill any non-walker vehicles fast and efficient, draws fire and can tarpit and kill lots of things.

Maulerfiends: take 3.

Obliterators, 1 in each unit, take 4-6, drop them alone. Use allied Daemons (Plague Drones ftw) with banner, so the Oblits can avoid scatter)

DP with Black Mace ofc.

Noise marines with Blastmaster (take 2 in a 10-man unit) supported by a lvl 1 divination sorc (from supplement or a Tzeentch Herald) for rerolling misses.

1) There is no such thing as chaos cheese

2) There are a few things that come close, but they are more like the cheese that comes wrapped in plastic and goes on burgers and is actually made from corn oil, or chemicals or something:

-Belakor
-Fateweaver
-Invisible - Grimoired - D-thirster
-Heldrakes
-Maulerfiends
-Juggerlord with spawn
-Most Tzeentch demons
-Nurgle spawn/bikers/demon prince (not really cheese, just OK)

No chaos cheese ? Course there is!

We can access:

2++ rerollable saves

Turn 1 charges from reserve.

Guaranteed invisibility on a flyer with a 2+ jink save.

30pt 10 man units.

Free unit generation

Admittedly a lot of the cheese is overcosted.

Proof of no chaos cheese:

Give me one chaos list that your average person at your lgs would refuse too play, cause it stinks too much like cheese? (A battleforged list)

Actually, I think if you laid that out on the table you would have people WANTING to fight you for fun - not really driving them away cause your list stinks like cheese.

I don't think there is a list that actually causes animosity from other players like a scatterbike + wraithknight list - or a necron decurion, or a war convocation.

Mind you I think mono chaos might be getting a dex soon (heard some rumors, not super sure yet) and if so I'm sure it will bring some cheese to the party.

This isn't even close to cheese.... I could slaughter this list with a battleforged CSM list.

Yeah if you want unbound why not 21 individual units of Nurgle Oblits and a Spawnstar? Why take Cultists at all? Or Raptors? If Tau are a regular opponent the Black Mace Prince is not a good investment at over 300 points, a unit of Broadsides would kill him in a turn.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

ok you want to play a cheese list? then do this

for unbound:

3 heldrakes
fateweaver (warlord)
lord of change with grimoire
fill the rest with obliterators

the grimoire will beef the fatewaver, lord of change, heldrakes and the obliterators, causing their imvulns to be 3++ or 3++ rerollable

for battleforged go with typhus
6x10 cultists
then go with fw necroisus sorcerer or whatever his name was in another cad
6X10 cultists fill the rest with heldrakes and oblits

omg you dont know what cheese even tastes like.

Unbound Obliterators is decent. The invisible Flying Circus is good.

I personally would spam 5 men Havocs with 4 AC and lascannons for unbound lists. not that strong but fun.

Or spam ml3 sorcerers.

I always (well almost at least) bring a unit of havoks with AC, and they deliver in every fight! It is crazy what results you get from 8 s7 ap4 shots. For only 115 points. And people seldom target them since they are so cheap, they usually go for more expensive targets it seems.

i already posted a list with havoc spam and people rated it being low to non competitive and non killy. Due to the fact that they lose morale and run off the board and that melee armies deepstriking or running in will totally beat them. Oh well. i Guess one squad is good if you present bigger targets.
