Any opinions? With tough 6 I'd love to put them in a raider with swords because I wouldn't lose the initiative and get a bonus attack maybe footsloging it'd have to be shield to help vs all that plasma?

Because they are really tough with a good save I generally run them in a transport (either a Wave Serpent or Allied Raider) with two swords. I personally find the axes to not be worth the extra strength for their lower initiative, and the shields never do anything for me because they are in a transport so often. So the extra attack with two swords is the way to go, if you ask me.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

That's what I was thinking, the only drawback I find is if I move 12 inches in the transport they still have to sit in there for a turn before they can disembark, but if I turbo boost with dsckyth I can still flame them right?

Axe and shield all the way. Wraithguard don't have assault grenades and have poor initiative for Eldar. May as well maximize the damage you can do at initiative 1.

I vote axes and shield as well. Their strength lies in their toughness and durability, not volume or speed of attacks. I think they perform best when pinning down a unit for another unit to charge in and finish off. Players also tend to overestimate their damage output and they attract a lot of firepower, so the 4+ invul can really be beneficial.

Active armies, still collecting and painting First and greatest love - Orks, Orks, and more Orks largest pile of shame, so many tanks unassembled most complete and painted beautiful models, couldn't resist the swarm will consume all
Armies in disrepair: nothing new since 5th edition oh how I want to revive, but mostly old fantasy demons and some glorious Soul Grinders in need of love
