Hello there, friends.

Even though gaming is a distant third as to why I collect models (the hobbying aspect, and fluff/books etc are the main attractions for me), I still want to respect my lore and have armies that make sense when looked at while on display.

So last year I decided to start collecting Beastmen purely off the aesthetics. Prior to this, I knew almost nothing about Chaos except for the 40K Chaos Marine presentation of it, and even that is fairly limited.

I've read about Chaos undivided, but does this apply to the Beastmen? I'm very close to buying some models that I really just want to paint and assemble, but I'd like to know if they make sense hanging out with Beastmen. I also got a bunch of Chaos models in a trade and wonder if I should just sell/trade them, or if I can work on them and have them marching with my Beasts. I've already read the background on all of them, and though they all have their own specific stories, the whole Chaos undivided concept gives me hope that all of the below can work together if for some reason the occasion called for it.

The models are:

-Crom the Conqueror
-Slaanesh Keeper of Secrets
-Bloodthirster
- A human Chaos Sorceror
-Bel'Akor the Daemon Prince
-Greater Daemon of Khorne
-Assorted Daemons from all the pantheons.
-I'm also considering building up a small force of Slaanesh foot troops

So will the above units make any sense at all marching to battle with Beastmen and alongside each other? If it's laughable fluff-wise, as in some mortal beef between some of them that would utterly forbid their co-operation, then I can easily trade them off for other things I'd want. I have plenty of other stuff to paint so it's no big deal.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it fellas.

Undivided Chaos applies to all who follow any of the gods, including Beastmen. I'd say that your Daemons and Warriors could easily march alongside them, primarily using them as what Beastmen are, minions and chaff to be used for those who can command them, Crom and all the Greater Daemons would have dominion over them especially if you make mixed tribes of Beasties devoted to different Gods. I think that'd be quite cool to see like a mass collective of Chaos marching to war.

Thanks for the response, that opens up a lot of ideas for me now. Gonna have to strip Crom and clean him up.

Ya man, they pretty much follow all of the gods. Some devoted to a certain than others. Thats whats cool about beastman.

In the older fluff, you'd often get a small tribe of beastmen led by a single chaos warrior. Occasionally in commune with a daemon. Very boxtree (I.e. old school) fluffy.

Beastmen can be marked, as well as unmarked.

It's worth noting that, while morals are the pawns of chaos, breastmen are the pawns of the pawns. The gods don't care about them one bit. They have no soul, and thus add nothing to the gods, all they care about is breaking civilization down into nothingness.
