Hey guys, today Kevin starts the new series, "At the Painting Table." The first in the series is how to magnetize a 28mm infantry model, an ork boy was used as demonstration. Let us know what you think, and if you have any ideas of what to do next! Keep on wargaming!

Good tutorial, very informative! I may borrow these techniques for magnetizing my Tau Crisis Suits. I will use my hand (pin vise) drill instead of a power drill, as I don't trust myself not to destroy something with a power drill. I've only ever magnetized one thing before (a Land Raider), so it was definitely useful to see one for doing infantry as it is a little different.
As for the video itself, I'm not sure it's entirely necessary for a top down view. The view in the video was just fine to me. Only thing it might have needed was some closer shots while you were drilling (again, not strictly necessary).

Hey thanks for your reply, and while a top down isn't necessary I believe it would improve the quality, and allow for easier zoomed in shots like you talked about.
