I started playing 40k early this year with Khorne daemonkin and recently added a Grey Knights army. These are the two army's I enjoy the looks and fluff of (I know polar opposite) . I have played a dozen+ games as KDK ,none as grey knights as of yet. still reading their codex and painting my force so know next to nothing about how they act on the table.

I know both these codexs are not top tier but I would like to start going to some competitive play events (more for the experience than to win) . Out of these two army's what would you chose for a newer player to get into the competitive scene?
left a poll for those who did not want to respond with a why. Thanks!

It depends on what you have for each army to be honest with you

Killy killy daemons although GK are fun I would say play with yourself hehe but the GK would be a bit OP. your armies will determine it in the end.

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.

60/40 split. Thought it would go one way or the other......guess I got to get some games in with GK and see which one I enjoy more. Thanks to those who responded

Also to those who asked what I had here is a quick rundown

For kdk have slaughter clut and gore pack formations. Two hell brutes a defiler a skull cannon and blood thirster with D. Thinking about adding two maulers but don't have yet.

For Gk 10 terminators 10 purifiers 5 interceptors 2 storm ravens 2 dreadknight a Libby a caption and draigo.
