Hi guys! There's gonna be a tournament at my FLGS this month. Last time I came close to win the tournament, however due to sheer luck and experience my opponent won. I prepared a list and want some input or advice on your behalf. My biggest concerns are:

1. An Eldar player who's playing Wraithguards with D-weapons and D-flamers. He is using DE allied detachment to put the WG into a raider. And DS the WG with the flamers to massacre units sitting in cover and on objectives. Uses mostly the broken invisibility spell. He just murders my CCB, so I decided to drop it altogether with expensive upgrades.

2. A very experienced SM player, who beat me last time, is playing Iron Hands chapter and usually deploys a lot of long ranged high Strength and AP gun far back on the table.

The rest of the player are mostly SM, Tau, SW, Khorne CSM and Daemonkins.

Solid. Not much to say. Pretty typical but solid. I would like to see a warscythe on that lord cause he is likely to get charged and he needs to fight his way out.

Yeah, I plan putting him in the NS with the 5 Immortals, just to hold objectives. I was thinking about the Warscythe. I usually use when he is riding in a CCB. He still has to survive until I2, he has better chance to do it with a Phase Shifter. However you might have a point about being charged. How about using Voidblade or a Hyperphase sword?

I personally would go with the scythe over the shifter if you are shy on points. You have a 4+ RP which is basically like a 4+ inv and if he is fighting someone who can handle his t5 with saves etc then you in trouble anyways. But, if you survive you can mince them. Plus its good vs vehicles so he is a threat at things like dreads which if they charge will cause you havoc.
