Subject: "Scout" vs "Concealment"

This is, I hope, a fairly simple question. Does the free move that Scout allows after deployment but before the roll to see who goes first constitute an actual move (and thereby eliminate the "Concealment" advantage), or simply a reassignment of deployment based on the unit's ability to move?
The rules seem straightforward - you move, you lose concealment. However, given that the game has not actually begun play, it would seem incongruous to have a player determine if they want to risk losing concealment before they even know if Scouting will be advantageous to their situation.
(IE I choose to Scout my troops ahead, but lose the go-first roll, so now my troops start the game w/o the benefit of Concealment)

I support scout removing concealment for both rule and fluff reasons. For rules, you have moved, therefore meeting the only requirement of losing your concealment status. For fluff, concealment comes from setting up in a hidey hole type area, or with static camoflauge. Scouting would ruin this approach as it is quick movement, but infiltration wouldn't, which is why infiltrating units still get concealment.

That is probably something that would be best to discuss with your opponent beforehand because it is grey but I would tend to agree with snoogums

pg. 75 of the BGB, last senence of the scouts paragraph: "All of the normal Movement rules apply." i'd say you'd lose your concealment.

I remember a post about that so you can search for the conclusion.
The concealment rules say that it apply to non vehicle that are deployed at the beginning of the game.
Scout move happened before to roll who goes first.
The organising a battle section say that once the everything has been setup, you need to roll a dice to see who gets the first turn and start the game!
So the game start after the scout move so it does not count for the concealment

Back when Devilfish could Scout (without a major discussion) it was concluded that the Scout-move didnt help in making the 'Fish "Glancing-only" sonce it wasnt actually Movement happening in the Movement Phase. Same logic could be applied here.
