1 those are Ordnance batteries, they contain Macro cannons
1.5 yes they are the same guns and you should provide small thrusters to compensate for the weapons and for turning the massive beast
2 that Battleship is armed with Lance batteries alot of those smaller bubbles are Ship defense systems (anti torpedo and small flyer and the like turrets)
3 about there more rear center ship
4 yes they can be all lances or macro batteries dependent on the ship
5 all over the place lol sorry they are all over for MX of the ship and the like so where you feel like you would be needed to get out to fix the ship or latch on to other ships
6 some on the flanks the under belly and towards the rear in some case
7 for the average yes some also mod with nose mounted weapons and modified engine structure
