Allright here are some almost done pictures from my latest work.

Still need to varnish and make an oil pin wash on the top part and put the cockpit on when it is dry.

Thoughts? Comments?

At my desk

The blues are absolutely stunning, very well done. The staining on the cockpit I find very... 'meh', but that's because I usually paint my cockpit glass over and then use the pilot bits somewhere else. The underside looks good enough, but nobody's going to see that so that's all great.

My only complaint is that the lines don't show very much, maybe put some wash in the indentations to bring them out a bit. But otherwise, very impressive.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Thanks for the good words.

The transitions to blue and greens are pretty smooth.

The cockpit was actually a test, first time I tried a Ghost Tint on a cockpit to see the final result. Not bad actually, it did not pool around like other washes or glazes.

Underside was done with a special brush again for testing purpose, maybe should have gone with an oil pin wash.

Yes you are right about the lines on top. I will use an oil pin wash after the first varnish.
