if I have 14 blood claws with bolter and chain sword. A wolf guard pack leader with two wolf claws and a wolf priest with a bolt pistol in a unit. on the charge how many melee attacks do I get. I count 79 but that seems dangerously cheezy.
I get 79 cuse
14 blood claws × ( 1 bolt pistol + 1 CS +1 for attacking with 2 mele weapons+2 rage)= 70
+
1 wgpl x (2 wolf claws +1 for having 2 melee +2 for rage)=5
+
1 wolf priest x ( one ban hammer + one bolt pistol + 1 for having 2 melee weapons +1 for charge ) = 4

You don't get an attack with each weapon plus the two-weapon bonus, it's just the 2 weapon bonus:

Blood Claws, bolt pistol + chainsword - 1A basic, +1 for 2 ccw, +2 for rage = 4 each.
14 Blood Claws = 4x14 = 56.
WGPL, presumably 2A basic? (Don't have the codex to check the profile), +1 for two specialist weapons, +1 for charge (think he doesn't get rage).
Wolf Priest, again guessing at least 2A base, +1 for 2 ccw, +1 for charge.
And I think the Wolf Priest has Zealot?, so re-rolls on missed hits for the whole unit.

Huh. I hadn't noticed this, before, but the Pack Leader apparently DOES get Rage (in the Wolf Scouts listing, for example, Infiltrate notes "Wolf Scouts only" to make it clear the Pack Leader doesn't get it. Rage has no such note).

And Wolf Priests don't have Zealot - they have Preferred Enemy, declared at deployment, against whatever one type of unit the player chooses (Vehicles, Infantry, MCs, whatever), so they're just re-rolling 1s against that one type of unit. The Wolf High Priest, Ulrik, has the open-ended version of Preferred Enemy. They also give their unit Feel No Pain (6+) with Healing Balms.

Otherwise, your break-down is correct.

Thank you, don't have the Space Puppies codex to get a completely accurate explanation, and don't have any regular Wolfy opponents.

Interesting about the WGPL, guess he just gets caught up in their enthusiasm!

Folks from Fenris are pretty enthusiastic, in general...

Up until a couple hours ago, I'd assumed he didn't... checked the Codex for this conversation, did not check the errata.

Under the couch

Given the complete lack of effort GW have been putting into them over the last two editions, that's becoming an increasingly understandable oversight...
