Hey all,

So i love collecting but because i've never really played i havn't stuck to one army but i want to. So i joined a local GW event to paint a new 400 point army in octoberand then play with it, then 350 more in november, and a final 250 in december.

I've narrowed it down to three armys, Khorne Daemonkin, Space Wolves, and Necrons. I already had models sat unpainted for all 3 of those armys.

I have enough Space wolves to make 750, and enough necrons to make 750, and enough chaos to make 1000 points. But because its spread over the three months what i have already doesnt really bother me, the issue i have is that i have three 400 point lists/models on my table, in various stages of painted and i'm struggling to maintain motivation when i keep fluttering between the three.

Can anyone give me an idea of how i can stick to just one? Pro's/cons of the factions or something? There are bits i love about all of them, and apparently i am indecisive as heck.

the wolves consist of Rune priest, 5 terminators and 7 wolf guard (using that detachment in fenris that lets me have 1hq+2 elite as a core)

Necrons are an overlord, 10 warriors. 5 immortals and 3 tomb blades

Khorne is lord on jugg, and two units of 8 Marines

what is it you want? advise on those armies or how to be less fickle?

I'm quite fickle, i'm always looking at potential new armies but then i remember i need to finish the stuff i've got. The armies i've got i like so i don't have much trouble, but i do have a lot to paint and painting the same colour scheme over and over can get stale so sometimes i do just pick up a one off different model just for some diversity.

As for those armies Space Wolves can be great at lots of stuff, i've seen awesome drop pod space wolf lists, i've been murdered by murderfang and mushed by thunderwolf cavalry so you can probably make them you're own and if you get bored of playing them one way it shouldn't be too hard to grab some new models and use a different game plan.

Necrons are cool and not as one dimensional as you might think. While they're typically the relentless horde of the dead they also have awesome transports and cool jetbikes to speed around.

i've never played khorne daemonkin so can't advise much on that but the khorne daemon models are really cool so if thats your thing you won't be short of interesting stuff.

If your getting bored of an army it usually not too hard to change it up without having to invest in a whole new faction. Once you start gaming you should grow more attached to the army you choose.

"That's how a Luna Wolf fights."
"If you can't keep up, go and join the Death Guard"
"It had often been said that Space Marines knew no fear, but when Angron charged, he ran"
