Hi all,

I've been looking for Skyrim-style Orc heads to use in conversions. It seems there are a million producers that do Games Workshop style Ork heads, and a handful of companies that do LotR style heads (Wargames Factory, Games Workshop's LotR range, Hasslefree)

I'd prefer if the heads were standalone (like Hasslefree's), or at least separate from the rest of the model (Hasslefree), but may get desperate enough to try to clip off a plastic... or even metal... model's head.

So, does anybody know of anything that could help me? I'm thinking of expanding my search to a different race... maybe Orc isn't actually what I'm looking for. Are there any fantasy/alien races that have the similar fangs and sloped foreheads, and squat noses?

Thanks for any leads you can provide!

I wish. I would love an actual Skyrim line of miniatures. Especially Argonians. I like the skinny lizards, not the squat fat ones that everyone makes.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

I'm thinking I might have a go at some Games Workshop Ungor heads. File off the horns and see how those look.

I wish one of these minis companies would pick up an Elder Scrolls license! Life would be a lot easier for us then, eh?

Hmmm, maybe several wolf-like Space Wolves head would work? I've seen 3rd party bits that kinda look similar to Skyrim orcs if you apply the right paintjob.
