Cool report. It really demonstrates the MSU combined with reserve manipulation (and how units arrive on the table) really can dominate and overwhelm some armies. Thanks for sharing.

@Sarigar - yeah, the reserve manupulation is awesome. I could really make the most out of it with a comm relay... but I find it hard to justify at 1500pts. Ideally I like using a scalpel squadron as the ultimate reserve denial and then have the autarch and some form of re roll on the reserves to really beta strike the enemy on my terms.

One question -- it sounds like the warp spiders fell back from combat, how did this occur?

My understanding was they automatically pass Ld checks.

I had a question for space wolf players, are the lower wolf captains (not lords) good ?

I'd rather have a lord but you can save some points if it's tight.

They always are.

Having an autarch in the army dramatically increases the reliability of your reserves!
Combine this with a comms relay or a warlord trait that allows re rolls to reserves (like labyrinthine cunning) and your reserves will or will not come in when you want them to!
