I've been doing some conversions to my Tau army and I've been writing a few descriptions for them. Hopefully it adds a bit more depths to my conversions.

Mobile Command and Intelligence Suite

Comprised of a number of technologies, they combine to allow a commander coordinate his unit with the greatest efficiency. The optics have been upgraded to see through a larger spread of the electromagnetic spectrum as well as an enhanced HUD. The armour houses high gain communication hardware and a low level A.I. The A.I collects all information that it can link to the mission and then compiles what it calculates to be pertinent. The A.I will then feed what information is most relevant to the HUD or can be called up manually by the user. Information can be relayed to other squad members or anyone with a compatible computing device. A portable hand-held display is also included to free up space for the commander’s HUD. The Mobile Command and Intelligence Suite allows an individual to access, collect and move any data they deem important. A commander with this tool can see, hear and know everything.

Integrated Digital Optics

It is well known that Tau railgun technology has incredible material penetration. This quality often goes underused, especially in urban environments. You can’t shoot what you can’t see. Integrated Digital Optics aims to solve this obstacle.
Early models tried to use different spectra of radiation. Unfortunately, if the radiation can penetrate a concrete wall, it can penetrate a warm body. Any radiation that would return to the optics would negligible or unintelligible.
Instead, the optics would use similar technologies used in integrated markerlights. The optics can use information from other sources to pinpoint the precise location of the enemy. As well as information from markerlights, the integrated optic can even use sources such as surveillance cameras when used in tandem with the Mobile Command and Intelligence Suite. The integrated optics feeds a detailed image to the user, allowing a rail rifle to hit a target the next building over.

Non-Lethal Sonic Bombardment

As the Tau Empire must defend themselves from within their borders, sometimes an enemy is more useful taken alive. To achieve this, non-lethal weapons have been mounted on gun drones. Various methods have been tested, but the most successful trials have been with sonic cannons. The sonic cannon bombards the person with ultrasonic frequencies. This can range from disorientating to crippling for a person.

Love it, and I LOVE the colour scheme. I'm tempted to start a Tau force now
