Hey Dakka, I just got the new thirster.
However, I cannot find rules for using it in Chaos Daemons anywhere. The entry that allows it to take gifts and the like. Where can I find them?

If it didn't come in the box, you can't.
People have been claiming the rules that came in the box said you could use them in Chaos Daemons.
|
"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

But you can. I believe it is in the White Dwarf. It said they can be chosen in either chaos daemons or khorne daemonkin armies.

I believe the rules for using it in Chaos Daemons was released in WHite Dwarf 60 (with the WHFB versions in WD57).

Where can I find them? The rules weren't in your box? A google search will find you some pictures of the rules. I'd use those until the rules get put in a codex.

If it's the standard bloodthirsters, then deamonkin is where the rules are printed.

Yes you can definitely take all three variants in a Chaos Daemons Army, where they gain access to much needed Greater Rewards. The relevant rules were indeed published in White Dwarf around the time of the model release.
