well, just played the massing near Sullust OP kit, had a great time and took 1st...Only 4 people showed , so my victory is not that impressive.

Third Round 400 Points

TO made ruling as he felt it was unclear on how we were to use the ships so ships were borrowed, and then returned as prizes.


My addition was:
MC80 Command Cruiser I had to drop Gallant Haven title on the assault frigate.

Opponent had to take the ISD as part of the rules (what I can remember of his list)

I choose the ISD (I figured I'd save myself a few bucks) oddly enough I got the MC30c Frigate since only 4 people showed and the other guys didn't choose it.

I was the only Rebel and thought it was funny that I beat all 3 Imperials, all my opponents played almost the samething and I seemed to have the exact counter to it. They all agreed they were weak on squadrons and Motti isn't as big of a deal as they thought. They also didn't think squadrons were so powerful and said they will be addig a few more to counter my tactics. I only played the one guy before and until now he thought my maxed squadron list beating him was a fluke. Well we're not as experinced as other areas, but we learned a few thing and now got a whole bunch new tactics to learn.




My question to all you is do you think with the new ships 400 points is going to be standard? and will squadrons be 1/3 or 1/4 for the total?

400 is going to be the new standard in the official rules. Fighters are still limited at 1/3 total points cost.

Interesting that you brought Garm as your commander. It seems that most rebel players prefer Dodonna or Mon Mothma. How exactly did you use him?

Gram is a no brainer commander just as card states ad one command token per command value. If Corvettes are still around o 5th turn the normally take repair and assault frigate takes more of the same.

Now that the new stuff will be out I need to make room for Wing Commander, and I think I'll be taking either Ackbar or Rieekan both are amazing. Vader will probably the only choice people take for Imperials he's stupid good.

On the FFG forums, most people love Screed. He's going to be even better in Wave II:

Auto crits on Assault Proton Torpedoes
Overload Pulse on Raiders allow for follow ups by stronger ships
Pair that with Avenger title on an ISD, and you can almost always kill a Rebel ship every turn.
