Hey all,
I've been sitting on a bunch of models I picked up on the cheap from a hobby shop that closed down and decided to try and put a fun Daemonkin list together.
Here's the list, would it do any good?

Slaughtercult

Lord with juggernaut, goredrinker, lightning claw, meltabombs, Sigil of corruption. (195)

Possessed (150)

Berzerkers x7, Champion with power axe, meltabombs, rhino with dozer blade (222)
Berzerkers x7, Champion with power axe, meltabombs, rhino with dozer blade (222)

lord of slaughter (D-thirster) (275)

One of the lords would run with the hounds, one would run behind or with the possessed. I could split the hounds into 2 small squads of 5 and run the lords with each of those.
I love chaos juggerlords, but alternatively here I was considering allying a chaos sorcerer ml3 on a bike with a force axe to buff the hound unit or himself with either biomancy or telepathy, etc. and just using generic cultists for the troop tax. Thoughts?

Looks alright. Not sure the extra CAD is worth it for the other Lord. Is that meant to show two units of cultists ?

An allied CSM Lord would be cheaper, and have more options , sorcerer would be my choice

Give that LORD with Goredrinker a combat familiar. Any wounds it inflicts will count towards the tally

The second CAD was to just get the second chaos lord in there, but I realized I meant to say allied detachment, points don't allow 2 units of cultists unfortunately. I feel like the bike sorcerer would be a little better too.

question about the combat familiar, if I were to work some points around and give him an axe of Khorne instead of the claw, do 6's to hit by the familiars attacks count toward the instant death rule as well?

If it's an allied detachment it can't also be khorne daemonkin. Allied detachments are forbidden from being the same faction as your primary detachment (the one the warlord is chosen from). If you want KDK it'll need to be a CAD. If you want an allied it'll need to be CSM.

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

ID on 6's is for ax only. Ax is twice as much as lightning claws. Claws have shred, between that and 2 attacks from familiar you should be charging up the goredrinker quick.

I'd also switch the berzerkers for bloodletters, drop that CAD and add some more war engines.

Sign! Or make 2 small and 1 Big Unit of Hounds and join your Lord to them as additional protection.

Second the replacing Zerkers with Bloodletters. For extra fun you can give them instruments and banners, then Deep Strike your Soul Grinders without scatter. Can be very effective if you give them Baleful Torrent instead of Phlegm. Phlegm seems nice, but being AP3 you're not cracking vehicles with it, and Ordnance means you snap fire your Harvester Cannon.
