Looks like the first retail galaxy class will be the USS Venture. IRCC we never saw a captain or crew for the Venture, but it was mentioned a few times in DS9. It will probably get the Thunderchild treatment, so I expect this one to be good.

Another Borg Type 03 is welcome. I was hoping for one to be cramed into the blind boosters, but a retail release is always better. There is still plenty of borg stuff to go around so I'm sure WK can pack this one with some good stuff. The borg, and everyone else for that matter, could use more cheaper generic upgrades.

Back to the Borg? I'd guess this will be the novel one, so should see another Hugh as captian weird its not named Liberator. Not really that excited for this wave.

A new Galaxy class! Kewl! I hope it gets a weapon upgrade that extends it's arc to 180 or 270 similar to Dorsal Phaser Array- call it "Phaser Ring Array" and make it cost primary attack value -1 (fires at range 1-2 at primary weapon value -1). Or "Phaser Cannons: Add +1 attack value for each Time Token added to this card. Maximum of two Time Tokens may be added in this way." I'd pay 5 points for that!

The big question: What kind of crew/tech upgrades will we see? Maybe Wesley Crusher will finally make an appearance? Or will we get the "generic" crew like the Prometheus did? I'm really looking forward to this ship, and if they give it the same kind of attention they did to the Hood or Thunderchild, it'll be awesome!

The Borg ship... it won't be as bad as the 'Cubes if it's like the Borg Type 03. As in, it will have a maneuver dial similar to other ships and not the Borg dial, and it'll have a 90 degree fire arc. If this is what we are going to start seeing for Borg... kinda sad to see the Cubes go away (not!). I'm really kinda curious what this ship will have, as it's the first new Borg ship we'll have seen in a long time post Borg Nerf and will give hints about the future of the Borg.

The Xindi ship... gonna be irked if it's the "Scimitar" for the Xindi. I was hoping the Aquatic guys would get that ship.

I am hoping that the Venture comes with generic crew. The Feds could really use some generic non-unique crew to keep them competitive with the other fleets' generics.

The Xindi ship could be interesteding to add a retail Reptilian ship. maybe a firepower 4 ship with a hull of 5? shields 3? If it's Scimitar, I might be a little pissed off, since the Klingons and Feds both deserve a high firepower ship...

The Borg Type 03 will be interesting, especially since I don't remember that ship being seen more than once (Some one please correct me if I am wrong).

Who knows what WK will do with the Xindi , but in reality they shouldn't be better than the Vulcans. I could see them being maneuverable, but for the time period anything above a 3 primary would be out of place.

The only exception to that would be the weapon ship, which comes out in December. It will probably be on the Tac Cube base so I bet it moves like a boat.

As far as I know the only Type 03 ship we saw was in the Decent. I know it popped up in some of the games and books. IIRC Picard even had a line about them wondering if it was a borg class or a ship they assimilated from some other race. I'm OK with them bringing in non-canon ships as long as the class itself existed in canon.

The Decent is the episode with Lor and the Rogue Borg lead by Hueg right?

I don't think the license will allow for non canon classes. I think using ships names from books for canon classes is a bit of a grey area.

I still want an Obelisk or a Rectangle, since those both show up in Voyager, and the Borg deserve a mid-range point cost ship that ISN'T assimilated.

I think that we will see the Borg Probe from Dark Frontier (rectangle). After all we are getting the Cardassian Missile, that was only in 1 episode. We are also getting the Bajoran Lightship that was only in 2. There is plenty of stuff to give the borg, so I think we'll see one. I just hope it is somewhere in the 26-30 point range to give the Borg a solid middle range ship. Not that they need it, but it makes list building easier. According to the Dark Frontier script the probe is about half the size of Voyager with the same firepower, that still makes it bigger than a Scout Cube. So 4-1-5-5 isn't unreasonable.

Think we'll ever see the Borg Rhombus? It was mentioned in TnG: "Pure Speculation" and during Voyager "Far, Far away" you can see it briefly in the background along with the wreckage of some other ships. Seven of Nine mentions it. She says it was a skewed design and abandoned for being too obtuse.

If the borg abandoned the design maybe not, but who knows, after all we are getting the Bajoran Lightship All WK needs is a decent screen shot to make the model from. Look at the borg scout cube, IIRC the only canon screen shot of that was the crashed one in TNG "I Borg". I believe all the other images of it are the WK computer mock up on a space background.
