Firstly are you combat squadding the Termies as you cant fit 10 in a crusader - meaning the others would be footslogging might as well drop 2 guys and put them all in.

Careful I have CDO it’s like OCD but in alphabetical order LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!!!!

Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

10 Terminators don't fit in a Crusader.
Sternguards with HB? Why? Take Combis or if you want special weapons, two Heavy Flamers.

1 Drop Pod? What are you going to do with that? Take a Rhino instead and/or switch the Sternguards (with Combi-Meltas) to the Drop Pod for a suicide drop.

1 Storm Talon? Take at least 2, 1 isn't going to help you much in a 2000 pts game. Or even better, drop the Predators and take the Stormwing Formation (2 ST, 1 Storm Raven).

Why take Dark Angels? I don't see any point in them, you're just taking stuff you could include in your main detachment.

You don’t gain much from allying in the DA. They just add more of what you have already. It looks like you are including them just because you own the DV box.

How to cut the Ultramarines down to 2k should be fairly easy. Drop half the assault terminators, and that’s most of the work done. Talion is a HQ these days, not a squad upgrade. You could drop him to free up another 50 points.

Now there is a good bit of tweaking you could do to your list. It’s not terrible as-is, you have a good mix of firepower. But some things stand out.

Librarian is fine
The 10 man assault terminator is a big one. Pare the squad down so it fits into the LR (with the Lib) is the first major step. I’d also put a few LC terminators in the squad. Not everyone needs a hammer, and the lightning claws are great for mulching MEQ, which you looks to be facing a lot.

Sternguard want to be in a pod. You also want as many guys as you can with special ammo. IMHO the only thing worth giving your bolter up for is a HF. Tactics vs. most things is to click of the tac/dev doctrine, step out of the pod, and erase something. Re-rolling ones to hit with the vengeance ammo does unkind things to other marines.

Your troop picks are fine. I might mix up the pod loads, but that’s not required. One perk of pods is being able to put the right unit down next to it’s chosen target. Haveing the right squad for the job helps there.

I’d stick with the skyhammers on the talon, but the LCs work. It’s a good unit, and worth flying solo. It’s not like you are going up against air-spam armies.

MM attack bikes work. I think regular bikers might be better, but they get the job done.

If you can find the points to upgrade the sponsons in the preds, I think they would be well spent. If you want a tank to remove hordes, I think the WW is a much better option these days. Vindi is fine.

You should look into formations. Lots of free power to be had there, but it does require you to re-jigger your list and leave a lot of units on the shelf (unless you field thier formation) But you are not that far off from a few of them (demi-co, 1st, armored TF)
