All the Emperor requires of us guardsmen is that we hold the line, and die fighting. Its what we do best. We die standing.

For starters, Doombulls are brutal when using their command ability on nearby Minotaurs...they are a nightmare to face!

Large units of Gors under the influence of a Beastlord and Wargor Standard Bearer will have a good chance of hitting on 3+ and wounding on 2+! And on top of that a 1/3 chance of attacking twice!

The Beastmen army list is not a large list, but it has many nice synergies and tactics you can pull. I also like the Jabberslythe as it moves fast enough to get into melee quickly, and in melee it does damage both when attacking and when it gets attacked in return, nice

First are you going pure beastmen or will you be running a legion of chaos? Because the latter has a few units to help the beastmen out.

To be fair, the beastmen army isn't the best, and it will be hard to play with, but it is really fun!

You want large units, ignore shields and give them two weapons. Don't worry with ungors, poor leadership and being stubborn won't help them out.

The chariots are actually pretty good. Don't forget primal applies to the beastie pulling it too.

Don't bother with Cygors, they seriously suck horrible. It ain't worth it. It's sad, because they are a good unit.

Also note, the bsb can still take gifts of chaos, even though he can't take anything else.

The Dragon Ogre Shaggoth?

He's now found in the old Warriors of Chaos book, so to use him you'd have to run a legion of chaos.
