Hello there! I am in need of assistance in moving my 1000pt Word Bearers up to 2000pt. The list below is locked in & cannot be changed. It has served me well & since it isn't broke I don't want to fix it. I'm looking for ideas that would help supplement them to a larger force. The 1k list is as follows:
Sorcerer Lv.2, Sigil, Gift, & Familiar
30 Cultists
9 CSM Vets & a Meltagun in a Rhino with Dozer Blade
10 CSM MoS, Vets, 2 Meltas, Icon of Excess, & PW in a Rhino with Dozer Blade
Havocs with 4 Autocannons
Aegis Defense line with Quad gun

All the CSMs have pistol, bolter, & CCW. The sorcerer takes daemonology & summons.

I've been thinking about adding up to three heldrakes & adding another daemon sorcerer with the same gear. Another thought was taking full helbrutes or two more squads of havocs. Thoughts?

I would like to add that I'm not opposed to adding things like a chaos knight or assassins.

Although heldrakes are good - they have to hover to grab objectives and then they are easy to kill. (Although atleast 1 never hurts)

Also, Imperial Armour 13 - Renegades & Heretics (basically any imperial guard unit twisted to chaos, plus lots of other goodies)

I always wanted to try out the nurgle bikers. I did some crunching and came up with this :
MoN Sorcerer Lv3, Vet, Blight, Familiar, Bike, & Sigil
6 MoN Bikers with 2 melta guns, LC, Melta Bomb & Vets
2 squads of 3 oblits (total of 6)
Heldrake

These are just proposed things. I would still like recommendations.

To make better use of your cultists you can get a Helbrute and some more cultists and run the Helcult formation to make them fearless, but they'll lose objective-secured and wont count towards troop tax.

How do you think a Chaos Knight would fare?
