This guy is smoking crack if he can't see how great this ship is. His biggest idea is to use Tasha Yar and the Escape Pod.

very tough ship indeed. I didn't get to listen to his commentary (at work) will check it out when I can. Vulcans have a challenger for sure in era specific games.

The commentary isn't the best. It's very boring? Very mono-tone? The guy doesn't see the potential in the ship outside of the Xindi faction until he shows off the Escape Pod- then he suddenly gets all animated and excited mentioning card combo's out of faction. My head hit my table when he did that. He also really didn't like the fact that you had to sacrifice your captain for the Prototype Weapon. I'm like what? I can think of 3 cards that replace your captain when he is disabled/discarded, and of course... Admirals.

Bit of a concern on Prototype Weapon- "... make a separate attack against each ship in the line (at -1 attack die for each ship past the first)." Does this make the weapon 5/4/3/2/1 or 5/4/4/4/4? If it's 5/4/3/2/1 then it's good, not great. Past the second ship, I wouldn't count on any damage. If it's 5/4/4/4/4 then OMG! I'll take two please. I'll have to come up with Shuttlecraft shenanigans to get a second captain card on this ship. Disappointing that Prototype Weapon specifies that you have to discard your Captain Card.

I really like this ship! I'm looking forward to getting one. Really looks like Xindi could be a viable faction for play.

Eh, it's a Kazon Predator with 1 more hull. Not bad, but not thrilling either. I think 4 attacks is very generous considering the Excelsior from 130 years later only had a 3. Don't even get me started on the poor D'Deridex. Escape pod has some possibilities, but I don't like things that require my ship to be destroyed to work The weapon could be neat, but will require planning.

My big beef is that the Captain, Talent, and Crew should only be usable on the Aquatic ship. I don't think there is room to install fish tanks all over the other ships for these guys The Xindi should be a lot like the Dominion, all one faction but with a lot of species restrictions.

I may be a little bias, I have no love for the Xindi

Sorry mate. Nobody has posted any on BGG or Facebook yet. Unless your a die hard for the Xindi, its nothing to write home about.
