Hey! Just reading up on some rules and theres one rule i dont really seem to be able to figure out to the extent i want.

Hatred - "troops fighting in close combat with hated foe may re-roll any misses when they attack in the first turn of any close combat"

First turn of any close combat, This mean you only benefit from it if you manage to assault someone turn 1 of the game and after that its useless?
(Have never actually played yet but are getting ready to start playing). How likely is it that you will be able to get a unit in your deployment zone in assault range into the other players deployment zone to actually benefit from it if you go first? (If the rule works that way)
Or is it that you benefit from it once, and that time being the first assault you make against that enemy?

The first round of a combat (whether you charged or they charged) is when you benefit.

So, if you charge T1, you will get the re-roll. If you win combat and your opponent then charges you, it's a new combat, so you would get the bonus again.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Its pretty much impossible to assault turn 1, the enemy can however if you deepstrike in your turn and they then charge you.

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.
