Another easy one for you all. Tired so maybe over thinking this!

"a model may replace boltgun, bolt pistol and/ or melee weapon with one of the following"

So can i buy a bolt pistol then exchange for lightning claw and then change chainsword for a powerfist on my Sanguinary Priest?
I ask as i'm converting one and he looks kinda power fisty already and i'm having trouble attaching a gun, i think i could pulk of s lightning claw.

But as i type this i'm thinking is this how you get "Gunslinger" rule?!
If i could get dual hand flamers on my sergeant that would be cool as feck. My army cares for no tourny wins btw.

Thanks!

You have a choice.
Replace Boltgun with "X"
Replace Bolt Pistol with "X"
Replace Melee weapon with "X"
Replace 2 of the three with "X" and "X"
Replace all three with "X", "X", and "X".

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Look in the codex where they detail the various parts of a datasheet. Under 'Options' they explain what is meant by 'and/or'.

defeat. It would seem that stupidity is as eternal as war.'

Yeah silly me. I checked the wording in my Nid codex. It's the same.

Thanks

Although the lack of the Oxford comma does allow for a misinterpretation that you give up the bolter. Then bolt pistol and/or melee weapon.

But that is purely academic: any or all 3 individually is the actualmeaning.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Vanished Completely

The use of and/or at all... makes me sigh....

8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures.
