Hey guys, I recently forked over a large amount of money to forgeworld to start a Dkok army. A quick look through forums and also the forgeworld website recommended imperial armour volume 1, 2nd edition which is currently in the mail.
I just found a review of that book and it didn't talk much about Dkok in the review and now I'm finding out about the siege of vraks book...... Can anyone shed some light on this? The amount of money I've spent this month I really don't want to buy another $80 book.

I just want to get these expensive suckers on the table. I purchased the starter set up from them so it's all troops, heavy weapons and command squad rules that I need.

IA1 has "normal" IG tanks and the armored battlegroup army list. IA:Vraks has the DKoK siege regiment army list. IA12 has the other DKoK army list, but it's kind of out of date.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Thank you for the help. I wish I had known that before, it will be months before I'll have the time to look at or paint tanks for them. Oh well, just bought the siege book too.

Welcome to the Korps!

Vraks has the most current DKoK army list.

IA12 has the DKoK assualt brigade army list. It runs uniquely different than the Vraks list, but sadly, FW has not kept it up-to-date with codex: AM. Not that you can't run it, you just might be paying more points for some things. With that said, it still can be fun running Unstoppable Advance for recyclable infantry waves!

IMO, FW should just cite "see codex: X" for all the bog standard troops, vehicles, etc. instead of copy-pasting point values. This simple fix would keep all their books up-to-date, for the most part.
