Trying to decide how... Ik I want to put them in either a venom or a raider but cant decide what is the more optimal choice. 10 incubi seems like too much but then again 5 seems almost too little. Also the raiders dark lances provide some anti tank that I am lacking, or I could just upgrade my kalbite warriors to trueborn and give them blasters in venoms for anti tank... Any opinions?

6-7 seems like an alright number. Have a Shadowfield Archon ready to tank wounds though.

The way I usually run all of my infantry is I roll a d6 and move that many inches in the shooting phase.

Should work for Incubi too.

Very funny. However, Incubi have Fleet, so they get to re-roll their run moves!

From what I have heard, Incubi are best used as bodyguards for a CC-oriented Archon or Succubus. The main risk is ironically killing too much with the squad. Ten Incubi will kill pretty much anything on the charge, but will be sitting ducks in the next shooting phase. The way I would run them is four (including the Klaivex) with a Succubus or Archon kitted out for CC in a deep-striking Venom. Relatively cheap for a bodyguard unit, and very capable when in their element.

I had the sneaking suspicion they had fleet, but did not know for sure.

I concede the point, and realize that my meager human running is no match for the swiftness of the Eldar! Or Dark Eldar, whatever floats your skimmer.

Why not just put 5 in a venom then and then go flat out turn 1 and get into cc turn 2? running seems too slow for CC infantry even with fleet

Take a squad of Incubi. Add Drazhar. Add Karandras. Drink the tears of the fluff monkeys as two hated enemies play together.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I often find ten in a Raider kills the charged unit too fast.

I would experiment with both options to find the solution that's best for your meta.
