Been out of the game a whole edition and about to hit the game store for a pick up. I'm not sure what to do with what I have.
All the old ways seem to have gone and I'd love it if you boyz could give me some advice on what to do with these models in a 1500 pt and an 1750 pt game?

Big Mek w/ lucky stick in a big unit of boys
Warboss on bike w/ whatever, use the warbikes as nob bikers, assault unit
Cannons as traktas if you might see flyers, behind an aegis with zilch upgrades
Koptas with missiles
Loots, and more loots, and more loots

I don't actually play orks but this is what I fear on the other side of the table

Well for 1500 points, you could use the Mek dread mob formation from the Ghaz suppliment. You would just need to pick up one more deff dread and 2 gorkamorka nauts...it's basically a big Mek a pain boy 3 squads of 3 kanz 3 deff dredds a gorkanaut and a morkanaut. You also could do something like this with what you have: 2 full shoota boy squads in the 2 battle wagons, convert a few more tankbustas from leftover boys and do 2 tankbusta squads in the trukks, warboss on bike with the bike squad with lucky stikk or finkin cap to roll on strategic table for some infiltration, koptas for soaking up overwatch and even throw in the warbuggies for some outflank and you have a solid speed freaks force that you can back up with some heavy support, like 2 units of 5 kannons and that unit of 15 lootas, add a bigmek with KFF in there and that aegis line and you have a pretty solid list!
