So I'm looking into buying a suit of wearable space marine armour. I was wondering how much a completely built set costs. I can paint myself. And how long does it take to build one (including cutting time)?

It depends on where you find it if you can, obviously though you're better off finding a tutorial and making it yourself cause from what I'm seeing on google you're looking at $1.8k+ for a suit of moderate power armour so the good stuff will likely be a lot more.

Alot. I have a friend who does cosplay hard core. I asked him once what it would cost to make me a set of armor. A vacuumed set would be a few grand and that was just materials.

For search words do Space Marine Cosplay and go from there.

The really good sets that are correct size for a space marine are usually vacuum formed plastic of some sort. The black templar one that has been around for years was made from paper craft and bondo. That one is sized for the wearer and not actual marine size.
