Hey Guys,

In a constant attempt to keep up with the changing meta I've thrown together two new Chaos lists. I propose two variants: CSM primary and CD primary.

The idea is that fast threats, resilience and psychic power backup provide the backbone of Chaos armies.
With the advent of Demi Companies and the damageoutput of Eldar Scatbike lists, going MSU is a good idea.
These thoughts are put into these lists while focussing on having enough potential to take out 1 LoW/Knight/etc.

This is the absolute best TAC competitive list I have seen for chaos yet on this sight. You seem to have covered all the bases. I would run list 2 if only because I don't like not rerolling the grimoure. One bad roll early on can really screw up your game that way.

I agree that list 2 is probably best, more psychic shenanigans and fate weaver re-roll. Where is the sorcerer going, I imagine with the hounds?

Also would it make more sense to make a bigger unit of screamers? I understand going MSU but the unit without the grimoire is gonna get burned down fast.

I agree that the second list is probably more stable. I was somewhat worried about it's anti Knight/Deathstar ability, but the more abundant psychic dice will probably compensate.

The Sorcerer will in most cases join the biggest Fleshhound squad.

As for the second Screamer unit, I don't know if I will be that dependant on the Grimnoire alone. My psychic power toolbox will be as follows:

Fateweaver: 1 Telepathy, 1 Biomancy, 1 Divination, 1 Pyromancy, 2 Malefic, all Change
HoT: 3 Malefic, Flickering Fire
HoT: 3 Divination, Flickering Fire
Pink Horrors: 1 Malefic, Flickering Fire
Sorcerer: Telepathy untill Invisibilty then Biomancy, Force.

This gives me up to 4 shots at Invisibilty and/or Shrouding, 4 shots at Forwarning, 6 shots at Cursed Earth and up to 3 shots at Endurance.

That means that one of the Screamer units will have the Grimnoire, but the other will quite likely have one of the following: Forwarning+Cursed Earth for a 3++ (reroll 1's), Shrouding+Jink for a 2+ rerolled coversave, Invisiblity or 4+ Jink (reroll 1's) and 4+FNP from Endurance. Both Screamerunits will be able to soak up an enormous amount of enemy fire before they collapse.

With 15+D6 dice and the fact that the Sorcerer wil have SF and thus casts on fewer dice, I will probably have enough dice to cast 2 buffs, a Malediction/Witchfire and then do an attempt at summoning as well.

Would be fun to play with... I'll keep you posted of the results when I test it.
